We’re Everyday Plastic.

An evidence-led social enterprise delivering accessible learning and campaigns that tackle the effects of the plastic problem that are felt across our society.

The plastic problem is big and complex, but one thing is for certain – we don’t need this much plastic in our lives. It’s affecting us all on multiple levels. Whether we’re being influenced to consume more than we need or worrying about our health or the environment.

Plastic has completely changed how we live. So much so that it's almost impossible to avoid when we eat, work or play. We’re here to show that there’s an alternative to our throwaway culture. A society where everyone can access a life with less plastic.

Through honest, hopeful and relatable communications and real-life experiences, we believe we can make this vision a reality. We do this by supporting everyday people and communities, as well as government and businesses, by sharing credible insights, spreading knowledge, pushing for better regulation, and inspiring behaviour change.

By informing and involving everyone, we stimulate public demand to influence decision-makers in government and business to accelerate the transition to a less plastic society.

Our latest campaign

We’re calling for all UK supermarkets to remove plastic packaging from five fruit & veg products so shoppers can #ChooseLoose. Click the button to find out more.
