Daniel Webb
Founder & Director
Daniel moved to the coastal town of Margate, Kent, in 2016, and was appalled to learn that there were no recycling options offered at his new home. With seemingly no way to dispose of plastic responsibly, he decided to conduct an experiment: he would collect all of his plastic waste for one year.
With the help of a scientific researcher, he analysed his entire collection of plastic waste and was able to gain an in-depth insight into his personal plastic footprint. The experiment changed his life and Everyday Plastic was born.
Since then, Daniel has embarked on a mission to help others establish a personal connection to the single-use plastic problem, and inspire them to take action.
Out of this curious one-person experiment emerged one of the UK’s leading organisations fighting the plastic problem, epitomising the belief that no matter your background, age or knowledge, you can feel empowered to make a difference.
